On 13 November 2025, in conjunction with the visit of ASEAN Committee in Islamabad (ACI) to Sialkot, His Excellency Ambassador Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan visited AirSial Corporate Head Office, Sialkot. On arrival, the delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Fazal Jilani, Chairman AirSial and Mr. Nawaz Ahmed Toor, Head of Diplomatic Relations.
During the formal meeting, the Chairman AirSial Mr. Fazal Jilani briefed the envoys about the journey of AirSial. The Chairman mentioned that there was a dire need of an international airport for speedy dispatch of Sialkot’s export goods to all over the world. The business community of Sialkot decided to construct airport in private sector which is now the fifth profit earning airport in Pakistan. Initiative was taken for the AirSial Limited Company to be incorporated with an authorised capital of Rs. 1 billion (USD 3.55 million). After regulatory approvals from Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) and other relevant departments, three aircrafts (A320) were acquired on lease to start domestic flights from 25 December 2020. International flights started from 29 March 2023 for Dammam, Madina, Riyadh in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Muscat in Oman. This was followed by a new destiny to UAE. On its future plan, the Chairman, disclosed that the company was planning to fly to China, Malaysia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Kuwait, Turkiye, Bangladesh and the UK as well.
