In Lahore, the Honourable Minister called on HIS EXCELLENCY MIAN MUHAMMAD SHAHBAZ SHARIF, Chief Minister of Punjab. Two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed to promote halal food business between companies from Malaysian and Pakistani. The first MoU was signed between SHEZAN INTERNATIONAL LTD of Pakistan and CAR N CO SDN BHD of Malaysia. The second MoU was between ZENITH ASSOCIATES of Pakistan and JETAK BAKAT SDN BHD of Malaysia. The signing ceremony was witnessed by the HONOURABLE DATUK SERI NOH BIN HAJI OMAR, Minister of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry, Malaysia, HIS EXCELLENCY MIAN MUHAMMAD SHAHBAZ SHARIF, Chief Minister of Punjab in Lahore and HIS EXCELLENCY DATO’ AHMAD ANWAR BIN ADNAN, High Commissioner of Malaysia.
In Lahore, Datuk Sri Noh visited Buffalo Research Centre, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Veterinary Centre and Zenith Abattoir. In honour of the visit, Datuk Sri Noh was present by the Government of Punjab with a buffalo of “Nilli Ravi” breed.

ON 14 – 17 DECEMBER 2009
HONOURABLE DATUK SERI NOH BIN HAJI OMAR, Minister of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry, Malaysia paid a Working Visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan from 14 – 17 December 2009. Datuk Sri Noh was accompanied by a 15-member delegation from various agencies and also from the business sector.
