On Wednesday, 25 October 2023, Ambassador Azhar participated in a religious activity of Yassin Recitation as well as the birthday celebration of the staff members at the Chancery. The event was organized by the Suruhanjaya Tinggi Malaysia Islamabad (STMI) Club. Present were Home-based Staff (HBS) and the Locally Recruited Staff (LRS) of the High Commission.
In his remarks, Ambassador Azhar thanked the STMI Club for organizing the event. He urged everyone to work as a team with one main objective, i.e. to raise Malaysia's image and profile in Pakistan. He emphasized on harmony and unity among the staff to attain better working environment. He prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of Malaysia.
At the end the event, Ambassador Azhar presented gift hampers to the birthday celebrants who were born between the month of July - September, respectively.
