EID UL-ADHA CELEBRATION AT THE EMBASSY OF MALAYSIA IN MANILA
Embassy of Malaysia in Manila celebrated Eid ul-Adha on Saturday, 4th October 2014 with fellow Malaysians and local Muslims. The event started with the Eid ul-Adha prayer in the morning, led by prominent Imam from a local mosque.
Following that, the guests were served with variety of Malaysian cuisine, specially prepared by members of PERWAKILAN. The event was attended by nearly 70 people, including Home-based Staff and their family members, fellow Malaysians as well as local Muslims.
This year Eid ul-Adha was celebrated in a festive atmosphere. The gathering also has further enhanced understanding and camaraderie among Malaysians, as well as with local Muslims in Manila. The gathering at the Embassy has been a good occasion to continue the tradition of celebration, in particular for those Malaysians who are away from homeland.
