Embassy of Malaysia, Manila organised Majlis Bersama Rakyat Malaysia under the auspices of Program Mendampingi Rakyat Malaysia (PMRM) at Rumah Malaysia on 15 December 2012. The social gathering was attended approximately by 75 people, inclusive of the HBS, LRS and fellow Malaysian who are residing in Manila and surrounding places. The gathering started at 3pm until 6pm. The aspiration of this gathering is to bring together the fellow Malaysian, HBS and LRS besides enhancing the sense of camaraderie. The invitees were served with durian, pulut, mango, curry-puff, noodles, and teh tarik.
Malaysians who attended the gathering responded positively and suggest to organise more social gathering in near future. The gathering was a good platform for Malaysians in Manila, Philippines to meet and to know each other’s better. Besides the social gathering was attended by many Malaysians who recently arrived in Manila, Philippines.
