We would like to seek the cooperation from Malaysians residing/working/studying in the Philippines to register themselves with the Embassy of Malaysia, Manila at the following link. This advise also applies to Malaysians travelling to the Philippines on a holiday or short term course. This will enable the Embassy to be kept updated on the number and the whereabouts of Malaysians in the Republic and subsequently to help facilitate the Embassy in extending assistance if any emergency situation arises. Please be advised that the Embassy of Malaysia in Manila has temporarily suspended its visa operation from May 15 to June 9, 2020. Submission of visa application to VFS Global Services will "resume" on June 10, 2020. However, it is subject to the announcement made by the Government of Malaysia on Movement Control Order (MCO) and further notification from the Immigration Department of Malaysia in allowing foreigners to travel to Malaysia. Your patience and understanding on this matter is very much appreciated.
