The Embassy of Malaysia, Manila participated in 2012 Eid’l Fitr exhibition held at the Atrium of the Block, SM City North EDSA, Quezon City from 24 to 26 August 2012. The three-day exhibition was co-organized by a local NGO, Magbassa Kita Foundation Inc and the Philippines government agencies with the objective to showcase the Philippine Muslim’s culture through a display of photos, information boards, costumes, arts, crafts and culinary delights. On our participation, the Embassy distributed brochures on tourism and business opportunities in Malaysia to visitors. The exhibition has been a good platform to distribute these information and it was attended by various groups of people. Embassy staffs who were also present during the exhibition had answered various questions on Malaysia. Around 5000 Filipinos visited the exhibition and more than 1000 people drop in at Malaysian booth during the 3 days exhibition.
