His Royal Highness Sultan Ibrahim Ismail Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud Iskandar, the Sultan of Johor embarked on a private visit to the Philippines from 28 to 29 April 2011.
HRH the Sultan of Johor was received at Ninoy International Aquino Airport by H.E. Dato Seri Dr. Ibrahim Saad, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Philippines; senior officials from the Protocol Office of the President of the Philippines and the Department of Foreign Affairs; as well as officials from the Embassy of Malaysia in Makati City.
The visit reflects the warm and friendly state of relations between Malaysia and the Philippines, as well as the strong bonds of friendship between both countries at all levels.
HRH the Sultan of Johor was accompanied by Daing A. Malek Daing A. Rahman, a Member of HRH’s Royal Court, and other members of the Royal Court for the duration of the visit.
