The Hon. Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Pandikar Amin Mulia, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Malaysia will be making a Working Visit to Manila, Philippines from 23 to 27 April 2012.
During the visit, the Hon. Speaker will make a Courtesy Call on H.E. Jejomar Binay, Vice President of the Philippines, at the Coconut Palace. The Hon. Speaker is also scheduled have meetings with the Hon. Feliciano Belmonte Jr., Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Philippines; the Hon. Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago; and the Hon. Mujiv Hataman, Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Regional Governor of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM).
The Hon. Speaker and delegation will also be hosted to a Lunch by the Hon. Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Philippines; and to a Dinner by the Hon. Senator Santiago.
Throughout the visit, the Hon. Speaker will be accompanied by his spouse, Madame Puan Sri Diana Diego; H.E. Dato Seri Dr. Ibrahim Saad, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Philippines; the Hon. Datuk Juslie Ajirol, Member of Parliament for Libaran; and H.E. Datuk Wira Hj. Wan Ahmad Wan Omar, Deputy Chairman, Elections Commission. Other members of the Hon. Speaker’s delegation include officers from the Parliament of Malaysia and the Embassy of Malaysia in Manila.
