A conference entitled "Romanian and the Japan-EU Economic Partnership Agreement" was held on 9 July 2018 at Hotel Caro, Bucharest. It was organised by the Romanian Institute for the Study of the Asia-Pacific (RISAP). The objective of the conference is to share the importance and the impact of the Japan-EU EPA, at both Romanian and European level. 80 participants namely from the diplomatic corps, Romanian members of the European Parliament and members of the Parliament, the representatives from the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, directors of Japanese companies in Romania, the representatives from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania and think-tanks participated in the aforesaid conference.
