The international exhibition will gather over 500 companies from 19 countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Switzerland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Republic of Macedonia, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey and Hungary. The Construct Expo Antreprenor Exhibition will focus on construction products and systems which include urban development; construction site equipment; planning; consulting and design; contracting and execution services and electrical and wiring supplies.

Romania’s accession to the EU in 2007 gave an additional boost to the local market. Romania is expected to be one of the most dynamic construction markets in the region. The construction materials market has experienced a positive trend for the past three years. In 2006, as compared to 2005, the renovation and modernization works increased by 27%, followed by new constructions, which saw a growth of some 18%. The construction materials market in Romania will most probably reach within the next five to ten years a level similar to the one in other regions of Europe.
