Exhibition of Malaysian Products at Romhotel Fair, Bucharest, Romania

More than 40 Malay entrepreneurs made their inroads into Romania?s market after successfully participating in ROMHOTEL Fair in Bucharest from 23- 26 October 2008. The exhibition of Malaysian products is considered the biggest ever participation of Malaysia so far in this country, consisting of over 30 booths, which displayed various products ranging from furniture, handicraft, textile and cosmetics.

Besides providing necessary platform to access market conditions and potential demand for Malaysian products, the exhibition also promoted Malaysia as a reliable trading partner and source of high quality products with competitive prices. Y.B. Dato? Noh Omar, Minister of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development of Malays who led the Malaysian Delegation had the honour to officiate the launching of Malaysian products exhibition on 23 October 2008, with the presence of local business community and diplomatic corp. Besides Malay entrepreneurs, the Malaysian Delegation also consisted of representatives from MARA, SIRIM and PNS.
