H.E. Dato’ Nik Mustafa Kamal Nik Ahmad, Ambassador of Malaysia to Romania hosted a reception to mark the 56th anniversary of Malaysia's independence, at Hotel Crowne Plaza in Bucharest. The event was well-attended by representatives of the Romanian government, members of the diplomatic corps, business communities, the media, and Malaysians living in Romania. Guests were treated to a sumptuous buffet of Malaysian delicacies. Adding to the festive mood was a custom made cake depicting the Malaysian flag which was jointly cut by the guest of honor, H.E. Mihail Dobre, State Secretary of Secretary for Global Affairs from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and ASEAN Ambassadors from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.
