The 50th Anniversary of ASEAN and the 40th Anniversary of the dialogue relations between ASEAN and the EU celebrations were held by the Bucharest-ASEAN Committee (BAC) on 8 August 2017, which was hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia located in Victoriei Square area, Sector 1, Bucharest.
The guests were presented with light performances, a fashion show, an exhibition on ASEAN traditional fabrics and food stalls serving traditional ASEAN foods.
The event was graced by H.E. Mrs. Monica Georghita, State Secretary for Global Affairs and attendance by business communities, media representatives and members of the diplomatic corps.
