The 'Asian Ambassadors Group', recently had an informal luncheon with H.E Mugur Isarescu, the Governor of the National Bank of Romania. The luncheon was arranged by H.E Datin Paduka Halimah Abdullah, Ambassador of Malaysia, the Dean of the group. The lunch was the second time the group had arranged with the Governor. The occasion provided an opportunity for the group to exchange information and discuss subjects related to economic matters. In particular, the Romanian economy as well as the situation of the world economy in general was highlighted. The 'Asian Ambassadors Group' expressed its appreciation and gratitude to the Governor for accepting the lunch invitation, and for the opportunity of such a meeting.
