On 25 February 2016, the ambassadors from the Asian Group (namely from China, Japan, India, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Thailand, Viet Nama and South Korea) met with H.E. Mr. Lazar Comanescu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bucharest, Romania. The Minister was accompanied by his newly appointed deputy, Mrs. Danila Anda Gitman, Secretary of State for Global Affairs and other officials from the Asia Directorate of the MFA.
Among others, the Meting discussed on Romanian government policy towards Asian countries, Romania’s policy in dealing with security threats, current political climate, visa application procedures. They also discusses on the international issues, such as Brexit, immigration issue, debt issue and Ukraine crises.
