On 26 February 2016, Malaysia’s delegation which consists of the representatives from the Embassy of Malaysia in Bucharest and Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board in Istanbul pay a working visit to Romanian Television (TVR). The delegation was received by Ms. Elena Spanily, Director of International Relations.
Both parties discussed on the potential collaboration between national television station, private television, the Ministry of Information and any relevant agencies from both countries (i.e. exchange programme, technical expertise, etc). TVR positively welcomed the future collaboration as to date they have yet to have many collaboration with Asia countries. Both parties agreed to start with tourism as the introduction subject before expended it further. At the same discussion, Malaysia extended invitation for TVR to participate at the upcoming Familiarisation (FMA) Trip to Malaysia which will be organised by Tourism Malaysia scheduled to be held in May 2016.
Malaysia’s delegation was given a short tour around the studios, including the “Revolution Studio” which recoded many historic events with regard to the revolution in Romania back then.
