AMBASSADOR OF MALAYSIA MET WITH PROF. KAMAL MOHAMED OBAID, VICE CHANCELLOR OF INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF AFRICA (IUA)
HE Mohamad Razdan Jamil, Ambassador of Malaysia accompanied by Mr Muhammad Rafeeq Mohd Razali, Third Secretary and Ms. Omnia Adel, Translator met with Prof. Kamal Mohamed Obaid, Vice Chancellor of International University of Africa (IUA) on 15 January 2019 at the latter’s office.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss primarily on the welfare as well as to touch base with IUA on Malaysian students. It was a useful and productive meeting where both sides exchanged views on how to improve the synergy and interaction between the Malaysian students with the other communities of the university.
Discussions also centred on the university’s setup and unique qualities that made it attractive for Malaysians to study at IUA. Thus the importance of ensuring that recognition is made by Malaysian authorities is essential to further intensify cooperation with institutes of higher learning in Sudan such as the IUA.
