On 11 June 2013, 19 Royal Malaysia Police officers known as G19 paid a courtesy call on Ambassador of Malaysia, His Excellency Dato’ Mohd Ashri Muda at Rumah Malaysia in Khartoum, Sudan. They have arrived in Khartoum, Sudan on 9 June 2013. The G19 is selected and chosen from various ranks to serve for peacekeeping mission in United Nations Mission in Darfur (UNAMID). G19 led by DSP Mender Singh A/L Kehar Singh will serve UNAMID for a year which is until 9 June 2014.
