COURTESY CALL BY THE DR MUSTAFA MUKHTAR, 8 OCTOBER 2018
Dr Mustafa Mukhtar paid a courtesy call on Ambassador-designate to the Republic of the Sudan, Mohamad Razdan Jamil on 8 October 2018 at the Embassy of Malaysia. Discussions were centered on the issue pertaining to the accreditation process for a number of Sudanese institutes of higher learning such as Arabic Language, Islamic Studies, Shariah as well as Medicine by Malaysian authorities. Given the number of Malaysian students have recently increased in Sudan, both sides agreed to work together to ensure that the recognition of Sudanese institutes of higher learning will start as soon as possible. This will encourage student exchanges from both countries that will further enhance people-to-people interaction and thus foster warmer ties in the long run.
