FAREWELL DINNER FOR ENCIK CHIK ADNAN ABDUL RAZAK, HEAD OF EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION OF GREATER NILE PETROLEUM OPERATING COMPANY (GNPOC) ON 25 JUNE 2021
On Friday, 25 June 2021, the Embassy organized a farewell dinner at Rumah Malaysia for Mr. Chik Adnan Abdul Razak who had served as Head of Exploration and Production for GNPOC Sudan. He has been in Sudan for well over 8 years and finally end his tour of duty with GNPOC Sudan on 1 July 2021. A very dedicated and intelligent man who helped with the oil production in Sudan will be sorely missed by all who knew him. His vast knowledge and expertise certainly was an asset for both Malaysia and Sudan. Furthermore, his friendliness and warmth touched many of those who worked with him.
The Ambassador in his farewell remark thanked him for being a good friend to the Sudanese people and served not only the company with distinction but also carried our Malaysian flag proudly. The Ambassador on behalf of the Embassy wished Chik Adnan the very best in the next chapter of his life and looked forward to staying in touch always. For those who served in Sudan, there is always a special bond that binds us all. Selamat pulang ke tanah air Chik Adnan, semoga kita berjumpa lagi.
