MALAYSIA SPORTS CHALLENGE 2019
As part of the national agenda for ensuring healthier Malaysians all over the world, the Embassy organised on Saturday, 26 October 2019, the annual Bulan Sukan Negara (BSN) at Petronas Complex in Khartoum. A total of 52 Malaysians comprising representatives from Petronas, the Malaysian businesses in Sudan, the Embassy of Malaysia and students as well as their respective families participated.
The event was officiated by HE Mohamad Razdan Jamil, Ambassador of Malaysia. In his opening remarks, he highlighted that BSN was organized not just for Malaysia to attain the ‘sporting nation’ status by the year 2020, but also to encourage Malaysians to lead a healthier lifestyle wherever they are.
On the day, the Embassy organised an aerobic session followed by badminton, e-games and futsal tournaments. All participants fought hard and maintained the spirit of healthy competitiveness in staking their claim to being the respective champions for 2019.
At the end of the fun-filled and enjoyable day, a prize giving and appreciation ceremony were held followed by lunch.
