MALAYSIA TECHNICAL COOPERATION PROGRAMME (MTCP) CERTIFICATE AWARDS CEREMONY 2022
On Tuesday, 29 March 2022, the Embassy of Malaysia organized a Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) Certificate Awards Ceremony 2022 for those who participated at the MTCP Online Courses in 2021. The reception was held at the Exhibition Hall, PETRONAS Sudan Complex and was attended by the Malaysian and Sudanese community which comprises of PETRONAS Sudan, the Committee of the Sudanese Association of the Malaysia Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) Alumni, the officers from the Ministry of Justice, the Republic of the Sudan, officer from the Supreme Council for Training and Apprenticeship, officer from Industrial and Community Education College, officers and staff of the Embassy as well as their respective families.
The programme began with the recital of the doa, followed by the national anthems of both countries, the welcoming remarks by Mr. Mohd Faiz Firdaus Kamaruddin, First Secretary and speech made by the representative from the Ministry of Justice.
For this programme, the Embassy congratulated the 10 officers from the Ministry of Justice, who successfully participated in the MTCP Online Course: Digital Tools to Develop Basic English Language Proficiency from 21 June 2021 - 2 July 2021 with 2 other officers from the Supreme Council of Vocational Training and Apprenticeship and Industrial and Community Education College, who successfully participated in the MTCP Online Course: Train the Trainers for TVET from 20 - 24 September 2021. The Embassy highlighted that he hopes to see more Sudanese participating in the MTCP courses as Malaysia wants to share its best practices and experiences with Sudan.
The programme concluded with the guests enjoying an array of Malaysian cuisine such as Nasi Minyak, Dalca Daging, Ayam Goreng Berempah, Donut and Apam Balik among others which were prepared by PERWAKILAN Khartoum, the Ladies' Association of the Embassy. The total number of guests that attended was 45 guests.
