On 7 May 2015, Embassy of Malaysia in Khartoum, Sudan organized a get-together reception for Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) Alumni at the Embassy Lawn. 60 Sudanese civil servants who are MTCP Alumni were invited to the reception. The event was also attended by Friends of Malaysia and Malaysia citizen in Sudan.

In his opening remarks, His Excellency Mustafa Hj. Mansor, Ambassador of Malaysia to Sudan thanked the Alumni MTCP and other guests for attending the event and hope that the event would be a platform in strengthening the relations between Malaysia and Sudan especially in people-to-people relations. This is the first time such an event was organized and it was considered a success bringing together the MTCP Alumni as well as Friends of Malaysia and Malaysia citizen to further develop their networking.

Malaysian and Sudanese food were served to the guests. The guest especially the MTCP Alumni congratulated and expressed their appreciation to the Embassy for organizing this wonderful event and they hope there will be more events like this in the future.
