NATIONAL DAY AND MALAYSIA DAY 2018, 16 SEPTEMBER 2018
The celebrations were attended by the Malaysian community which comprises of Petronas Sudan, Malaysian businessmen, students and HBS as well as their respective families.
The programme began with the recital of the doa, followed by the national anthem, speech by HE Mohamad Razdan Jamil, Ambassador of Malaysia to Sudan and concluded with two performances by the students. Afterwards, the guests enjoyed a spread of Malaysian food and drinks jointly prepared by Malaysians (potluck). The total number of guests that attended was approximately 100.
The full participation of the Malaysian community in Khartoum is a testimony to its unity and commitment. The community in Sudan was able to work together, pool resources and coordinate among each other which contributed to the success of the celebration.
