On 26 April 2015, His Excellency Mustafa Hj. Mansor, Ambassador of Malaysia to Sudan presented his Letter of Credence to His Excellency Omar Hassan Ahmad Al-Bashir, President of the Republic of the Sudan. The ceremony took place at the new Republican Palace in Khartoum and His Excellency Ambassador Mustafa was the first Ambassador to present it at the new palace.

His Excellency Ambassador Mustafa was accompanied by Mr. Ahmad Shazril Suhaimi, Head of Chancery and Mr. Muhammad Zaki Abdul Ghani, First Secretary of the Embassy of Malaysia. Minister of Presidential Affairs, Salah Al-Din Wansi, Foreign Minister Ali Ahmed Karti and senior officials of the Republican Palace and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sudan were also present during the presentation of credentials ceremony.
Following the presentation of the Letter of Credence, His Excellency Ambassador Mustafa had a courtesy call on President Bashir and discussed among others, the status of bilateral relations between Malaysia and Sudan. His Excellency Ambassador Mustafa pledged to strengthen further the relations of both countries and look forward to working closely with Sudanese officials to realize it.
