Khartoum - The Presidential Advisor and Rapporteur of the Higher Council for Investment, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail, has affirmed Sudan' keenness to boost its relations with Malaysia in all domains, particularly in the economic field. This came when Dr. Ismail received at his office Wednesday the new Ambassador of Malaysia to Sudan, Mohammed Ashri, who affirmed in a statement to the press after the meeting Malaysia keenness to expand its investments in Sudan. The Ambassador also affirmed that Malaysia will participate in the General Conference of the National Congress next week with a high-level delegation to be headed by the Secretary General of the ruling party, the United Malay National Organization (UMNO). The Ambassador invited the Presidential Advisor to participate in the General Conference of UMNO party in Malaysia at the end of this month. Meanwhile, Dr. Ismail welcomed the new Malaysian Ambassador in Sudan and hoped that the bilateral relations will witness further progress during his assignment to Sudan.
