THE AMBASSADOR OF MALAYSIA VISITS THE VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP CENTER AND MAYO LOCALITY, KHARTOUM SOUTH, 27 FEBRUARY 2022

On Sunday, 27 February 2022, HE Mohamad Razdan Jamil, the Ambassador of Malaysia in the Republic of the Sudan, accompanied by Mrs. Lilis Surianty Mior Aziz, Chairperson of PERWAKILAN Khartoum, Mr. Muhammad Rafeeq Mohd Razali, Third Secretary, Mr. Muhamad Azim Rosli, Head of Operations NADA Properties and Mr. John Phildus of the Al-Manara Water Company undertook a visit to the Vocational Training and Entrepreneurship Center and Mayo locality in Khartoum South.

The purpose of the visit was to explore possibilities on how Malaysia and its partners could assist Sudan through Technical and Vocational Educational Training (TVET) targeting the most vulnerable communities as well as looking at solutions for these communities to receive access to the electricity and clean water.

The Embassy will constantly work with all interested parties to find ways of collaboration for the benefit of the people of the Sudan. In this regard, the Embassy wishes to thank the International Labour Organisation (ILO) along with Abu Hail Management, Financial & Administrative Training (ABH), Community Road Empowerment (CORE), and Social Development Organization (SUDO) as well as especially the participants of the training course who presented a wonderfully entertaining round of songs and poem recitals with delicious local cuisine for all of us to enjoy.

Thank you once again to the Mayo community for the lovely hospitality extended to us all.
