VISIT BY TAN SRI WAN ZULKIFLEE WAN ARIFFIN, PRESIDENT OF PETRONAS, 29-30 SEPTEMBER 2018
YBhg Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin, President of PETRONAS was on a working visit to Sudan from 29-30 September 2018. He met with Ambassador-designate to the Republic of the Sudan, Mohamad Razdan Jamil for a working breakfast on 30 September 2018 before proceeding with his official engagements i.e. courtesy call on HE Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir, President of the Republic of the Sudan and HE Azhari Abdul-Gadir Abdalla, the Minister of Petroleum, Gas and Minerals.
Given that Malaysia has been actively involved in Sudan’s oil industry for over two decades through Petronas since 1997 and the close personal relationship forged between both sides. The visit concluded with HE Azhari Abdul-Gadir Abdalla hosting a lunch for YBhg Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin and delegation at the Oil House.
