The Honorable Dato' Seri Ahmad Husni Mohamad Hanadzlah, Minister of Finance II was in Khartoum from 2-4 April 2012 to attend the 37th Annual Meeting of IDB Board of Governors. He was accompanied by Y.Bhg. Tan Sri Dr. Wan Abdul Aziz bin Wan Abdullah, Secretary-General of Treasury and other senior officials from the Ministry of Finance.
The meeting also saw the presentation of the IDB Prize in Islamic Banking and Finance for the year 1433 H (2012) to Bank Negara Malaysia’s Governor, Tan Sri Dr Zeti Akhtar Aziz and also the IDB prize in Science and Technology to the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM). Both prizes were presented by President of the Republic of The Sudan, Omer Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir during the opening ceremony of the meeting on 3 April 2012 held at the Friendship Hall in Khartoum.
