THE CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS 2012
DCP Dato’ Mohd.Mokhtar Bin Hj. Mohd.Shariff, Johor Chief Police Officer, and his men wish all celebrating Chinese New Year, a very happy and safe Gong Xi Fa Chai. We hope and pray that the "Year of the Dragon” will shower happiness and prosperity on everyone.
The Royal Malaysian Police perceives Gong Xi Fa Chai as a festival that fosters goodwill and harmony amongst Malaysians. Singaporeans travelling to Johor and other parts of the country to visit friends and relatives will definitely take advantage of this festive season to foster better understanding and relationships, and also to build stronger ties between Malaysians and Singaporeans.
As a law enforcement agency, The Royal Malaysian Police takes this opportunity to warmly welcome Singaporeans, tourists and foreigners travelling to Johor. We would like to inform all concerned that additional security measures have been implemented by Johor Police to enhance and beef up safety and security throughout this festive season. One of the measures taken includes the deployment of additional manpower and police presence on the ground. Travellers are also advised to be vigilant to prevent any untoward incidents.
