NEW BIOSCREEN SYSTEM INTRODUCED BY THE IMMIGRATION AND CHECKPOINT AUTHORITY OF SINGAPORE (ICA)

The High Commission of Malaysia in Singapore wishes to inform all Malaysian visitors to Singapore that the Immigration Checkpoint Authority (ICA) has introduced new Bioscreen system for all visitors.

In this context the High Commission wishes to inform that with effect from 20 April 2016, all foreign visitors to Singapore (ages 6 and above), who use the manned immigration counters, will be required to scan their thumbprints each time they arrive and depart Singapore.

The new BioScreen system will be introduced progressively at the passenger halls of the sea, land and air checkpoints in the months ahead.

In this connection, all Malaysians are advised to adhere the new regulating imposed by the ICA. For further information you may wish to refer to ICA website at www.ica.gov.sg.
