The Embassy of Malaysia carried out the ASEAN flag raising ceremony at its compound on 26th August 2011.
The ceremony marks the begining of an annual event, that would be carried out by embassies of ASEAN member countries around the world to commemorate the anniversary of the organization.
Present at the ceremony were the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Honorary Consul of Phillipines and diplomats from ASEAN member countries.
