On 1st April 2022, PERWAKILAN Belgrade under the patronage of Embassy of Malaysia in Belgrade had the honour of collaborating with the International Women’s Club of Belgrade for a Coffee Morning, hosted by Hilton Belgrade.
Emphasizing on Cultural Diplomacy, we proudly presented traditional dance performances by Chenderawasih – a cultural troupe under the auspicious of the Embassy of Malaysia; fashion display of hand-painted batik silk kaftans which were flown in all the way from Malaysia; as well as savouring of some Malaysian delicacies - chicken sate, karipap, kuih bom.
Goodie bag is a must and everyone present was so thrilled with all surprises inside the bags - Malaysian batik cushion covers, Malaysian food dry paste, jam and many other surprises in the form of discount vouchers – courtesy of all generous partners and collaborators !
They were also enjoying ‘mini shopping’ during the event and doing charity at the same time as 10 – 20 percent of the proceeds of the selling on that day will be channeled to the International Women’s Club Charity Fund.
We are truly glad to see that Malaysia Truly Asia hospitality left big smiles on everyone’s faces.
