We are proud to announce that Omar Raiyan Kama Azlan, 15, is the first Malaysian that has been accepted to be part of the Red Star Belgrade youth football team.
Omar, a Malaysian born in Abu Dhabi, first arrived in Belgrade in July 2019 following his father who was exploring new business opportunities in Serbia. With the assistance of the Embassy, Omar then began to train with the prestigious Red Star Belgrade in his pursuit to become a professional footballer. He is currently awaiting FIFA’s finalisation of the Red Star’s registration process.
Prior coming to Belgrade, Omar was training under the Du Laliga High Performance Centre in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with both of the Under-14 and Under 16 teams. During his early football days, Omar attended the Manchester City Football School for 6 years.
While football is definitely his forte, Omar is also excellent academically, a good swimmer, plays the piano well and also has good command of several languages, with perhaps Srpski to be his next quest.

Sa ponosom objavljujemo da je Omar Rajan Kama Azlan (15) prvi Malezijac koji je prihvacen da postane deo omladinskog tima Fudbalskog kluba “Crvena zvezda”.
Omar, Malezijac rodjen u Abu Dabiju, je po prvi put dosao u Beograd u julu. 2019. godine prateci svog oca koji je trazio nove poslovne prilike u Srbiji. Uz pomoc Ambasade, Omar je tada poceo da trenira u prestiznoj beogradskoj Crvenoj zvezdi u nastojanju da postane profesionalni fudbaler. Trenutno ocekuje zavrsetak procesa registracije kao igrac Crvene zvezde od stane FIFA-e.
Pre dolaska u Beograd, Omar je trenirao u sklopu Du Laliga High Performance Centre-a u Abu Dabiju, kao clan timova ispod 14 i ispod 16 godina. U svojim ranijim fudbalskim danima, Omar je pohadjao Skolu fudbala Fudbalskog kluba Manchester City u trajanju od 6 godina.
Iako je fudbalsko umece njegova jaca strana, Omar je takodje i odlican ucenik, solidan plivac, dobro svira klavir i govori nekoliko jezika, a ucenje srpskog ce mozda biti njegov prvi sledeci zadatak.
