At the invitation of Mayor Nihat Biševac, our CDA joined other Muslim Heads of Mission for an iftar in Novi Pazar. Dr Anela Halilović-Šemsović, President of the City Assembly of Novi Pazar was also present.
Prior to iftar, all guests went for a guided city tour experiencing the customs and traditions of the locals in this holy month, especially the atmosphere approaching the iftar time.
Earlier in the day, our CDA also made a revisit to the Dositej Obradović Library of Novi Pazar to contribute some Malaysian books. The books courtesy of the Institute of Language and Literature of Malaysia as well as the National Library of Malaysia were handed over to the Library’s Director, Mr Elijas Rebronja.
