The Malaysian federation which was established on 16 September 1963 saw the union of Malaya, North Borneo (renamed to Sabah), Sarawak and Singapore into a single state. Singapore, however left the federation 2 years after its establishment.
57 years on, Malaysia has continued to progress, prosper and marked achievements that we can be proud of. To all Malaysians, Selamat Hari Malaysia!
