To ensure that the local Serbians have the opportunity to taste and learn to prepare some of the popular Malaysian dishes, PERWAKILAN Belgrade organised a cooking demonstration that was opened to the public.
During the demonstration, Chef Dato’ Ismail Ahmad prepared Satay (grilled marinated chicken), Malaysian-styled Nasi Goreng (fried rice) and Cucur Pisang (banana fritters).
As the local Serbians’ staple meal usually consists of grilled meat, the visitors were especially interested in the preparation of Satay and its peanut sauce.
