On January 1, 2012 at 00:00 hours, marked the celebration of New Year 2012 and the opening of the first bridge ever built in Belgrade after 41 years. the Ada Bridge was open officially for traffic after three years of construction. Staff of the Embassy of Malaysia in Belgrade and their family members joined other Serbians crossed the bridge when it was first time opened for pedestrian on December 31, 2011 afternoon.

Prvog januara 2012. godine, u ponoc, obelezena je proslava Nove godine i otvaranja prvog mosta napravljenog posle 41-ne godine u Beogradu. Most na Adi je otvoren za saobracaj posle tri godine rada na izgradnji mosta. Osoblje Ambasade Malezije u Beogradu i clanovi njihovih porodica su se pridruzili srpskim drzavljanima u prelasku mosta kada je prvi put otvoren za pesake 31-og decembra popodne.
Ada Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge over the Sava River in Belgrade, Serbia. The bridge crosses the tip of Ada Ciganlija island, connecting the old part of town with New Belgrade.
