Malaysia through the Embassy of Malaysia in Belgrade and Tourism Malaysia will be participating in the 43rd International Tourism Fair which will be held in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia from 24th till 27th March 2022.
Our Chargé d'Affaires was invited to speak at the Press Conference announcing the Fair, alongside Ms Jelena Milenković-Orlić, Acting Assistant Minister for Tourism Sector, Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications as well as Mr Dragan Zečević, Project Coordinator of the Belgrade Fair.
Prior to coronavirus outbreak in 2020, Malaysia received about 1,000 Serbian travellers annually for three consecutive years, 2017 - 2019. For a distant country in the Southeast Asia, the number recorded is considerably significant.
Moving forward, Malaysia is indeed ever ready to welcome more Serbian as well as other travellers to her land of Truly Asia.
