The Embassy of Malaysia in Belgrade successfully organized the first-ever Seminar on Promoting Malaysian Palm Oil to the Republic of Serbia on 14 November 2024, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Belgrade. Officiated by Mrs. Carmallia Budiaty Che Embi, Chargé d’Affaires, the event highlighted the potential for enhanced economic cooperation between Malaysia and Serbia.
Mrs. Belvinder Sron Kaur, CEO of the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC), delivered pre-recorded remarks emphasizing Malaysia’s commitment to sustainable palm oil production and the importance of building trust with Serbian consumers and businesses.
Featuring insights from MPOC leaders and Serbian industry experts, the seminar raised awareness of the versatility and benefits of palm oil. Attended by Serbian government officials, business representatives, and media, the event received positive feedback, paving the way for stronger bilateral relations and future collaborations.
