The celebration of “Bulan Sukan Negara” continues with a Sepaktakraw Presentation, a collaboration between the Embassy of Malaysia in Belgrade and the Sepaktakraw Federation of Serbia for the students (14-16 years of age) of the 4th Belgrade Grammar School.
Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy introduced the students to some of Malaysia’s popular sports, its successful athletes’ achievements and the historic background of Sepaktakraw, including a presentation of a video clip of Malaysia’s national team in a Sepaktakraw international match.
This was followed by a presentation of the Sepaktakraw’s rules and techniques by Mr. Stefan Milutinovic, the President of the Sepaktakraw Federation of Serbia and a demonstration of the game for the students to try.
We wish to thank the Serbian Sepaktakraw Federation and the 4th Belgrade Grammar School for this valuable opportunity and hope that such programme will inspire and encourage the promotion of Sepaktakraw at the international level, particularly in this part of the region.

Obelezavanje Nacionalnog meseca sporta (Bulan Sukan Negara) se nastavilo sa prezentacijom sepaktakroua, organizovanoj u saradnji izmedju Ambasade Malezije u Beogradu i sepaktakrou federacije Srbije, za ucenike (starosti od 14-16 godina) 4. Beogradske gimnazije.
Otrpavnik poslova ambasade je upoznao ucenike sa nekim od popularnih sportova u Maleziji, dostignucima njenih uspesnih sportista i istorijom sepaktakroua, ukljucujuci prezentaciju video snimka malezijske sepaktakrou reprezentacije u medjunarodnom sepaktakrou mecu.
Nakon toga je usledila prezentacija pravila i tehnika sepaktakroua koju je odrzao g. Stefan Milutinovic, predsednik Sepaktakrou federacije Srbije, kao i prakticna demonstracija koja je omogucila ucenicima da se okusaju u ovoj igri.
Zelimo da se zahvalimo Sepaktakrou federaciji Srbije i 4. Beogradskoj gimnaziji na vrednoj prilici i nadi da ce ovakva vrsta programa inspirisati i ohrabriti promovisanje sepaktakroua na medjunarodnom nivou, a narocito u ovom delu regiona.
