The Embassy of Malaysia and the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Belgrade held a press conference on Thursday, 2 October 2008, to mark the official launching of their latest collaborative promotion effort, the “Taste of Malaysia” food fair. During the press conference, some 40 journalist and special invitees had the opportunity to experience the Malaysian culture through performances by the Embassy of Malaysia Culture Troupe and an array of Malaysian cuisines specially prepared by Malaysian Chef Jennifer Teoh and the Hyatt team

In his opening speech, the Ambassador of Malaysia, H.E Dato’ Saw, told journalists that this was the first Malaysian food fair to be held in Serbia in over 20 years. The Embassy of Malaysia is extremely delighted to be given the opportunity to work with the Hyatt in bringing Malaysia closer to the Serbian people and hopes that the existing cooperation would continue in years to come.

The Launching of "Taste of Malaysia"
The food fair will be held from the 2-9 October 2008 at the Hyatt’s Metropolitan Grill and is open to the public from 7 p.m-9 p.m in the evening. The price for the Taste of Malaysia buffet is RSD 2500 per person and reservation can be made at the Hyatt at any time. (Please refer to the enclose banner for details of the event)
