The outcome of the Malaysian General Election 2018 is a reflection of the practice of democracy in Malaysia and the maturity of the Malaysian electorate.
Following the conclusion of the elections, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad was sworn in as the 7th Prime Minister of Malaysia on 10 May 2018, following which the new Cabinet will be formed accordingly.
Considering the fact that this is the first transfer of power at the federal level since Malaysia’s Independence in 1957, the orderly transfer of power shows the fundamental strength of the institutions of governance.

Ishod malezijskih parlamentarnih izbora 2018 odslikava demokratsku praksu u Maleziji i zrelost njenog birackog tela.
U skladu sa izbornim rezultatima, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad je, kao 7. premijer Malezije, polozio zakletvu 10. maja 2018. godine, nakon cega ce uslediti formiranje kabineta.
S obzirom da je u pitanju prva promena vlasti na saveznom nivou od kada je Malezija postala nezavisna 1957. godine, miran tok promene vlasti je pokazao strukturnu snagu vladinih institucija.
