Working Visit of His Excellency Vuk Jeremic,
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia
to Malaysia,10 to 12 August 2008
His Excellency Vuk Jeremic, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia will undertake a working visit to Malaysia from 10 to 12 August 2008. Mr. Jeremic will be accompanied by four senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia. This will be the first working visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia to Malaysia after diplomatic ties between the two countries were established in 2003.
The working visit of the Serbian Foreign Minister is expected to strengthen bilateral ties between Malaysia and the Republic of Serbia in various fields of cooperation. It will also provide an opportunity for both countries to discuss and exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The programme of the visit will include a meeting with the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia. The Serbian Foreign Minister is also expected to make a courtesy call on the Honourable Prime Minister of Malaysia. Mr. Jeremic and members of the delegation will attend a briefing by the Economic Planning Unit on Malaysia's experience in socio-economic development.
