Ambassador Suhaimi, accompanied by the Education delegation from PETRONAS, met with H.E. Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiyev, the Minister of Education of Turkmenistan, today. They discussed potential cooperation in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) as well as Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
Both sides agreed on the importance of talent and skills development at early childhood and the need to ensure a sustainable education ecosystem in both countries. Discussions also covered accreditations requirements and a proposal for a Memorandum of Understanding between PETRONAS and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
