The 2010 International Culture Day of Chao Yang University of Technology, 24 - 26 May 2010

The International Culture Exchange Society of Chao Yang University of Technology, Taichung, Taiwan is holding its 2010 International Culture Day themed ‘Come With Me’ from 24 to 26 May 2010.

This annual event of the International Culture Exchange Society is into the third year of commencement. Malaysian students have been at the helm of the International Culture Exchange Society since its establishment four year ago. The fourth president, Ms. Ng Yoke Teng, is from Ipoh, Perak.

Mr. Lim You Rang , Director (Economics) of the Malaysian Friendship and Trade Centre, Taipei attended the opening ceremony of this event with Mr. Wong Yee Shu, Vice President of the Malaysian Students’ Association in Taiwan. They were warmly received by Chief Secretary of the Board of Directors, Ms. Yang Dean of Student Affairs, Mr. Su Wen-Pin Ph.D., Director of International Affairs Centre, Mr. Lin Rui Siang and approximately 200 students of Chao Yang University of Technology.

There are currently 5,132 Malaysian students in Taiwan of which 53 are with Chao Yang University of Technology. Malaysian students at Chao Yang University of Technology are mostly from the New Era College and its sister college i.e. the Southern College of Malaysia.
