A 3-member Specific Project Mission (SPM) from the Chemical Industries Division of MIDA Kuala Lumpur visited Taiwan from 25 April to 2 May 2010. The SPM was lead by Mr. Yeoh Hock Eng, the Director of the Chemical Industries Division.
The objective of the SPM was to have further detailed discussion with targeted Taiwanese companies in the solar and LED materials sectors with the view to convince these companies to firm up their investment decisions in favour of Malaysia.
The SPM visited the 9 targeted companies located in Taipei city, Taipei County, Taoyuan County, Hsinchu Science-Based Industrial Park and Central Taiwan Science Park in Taichung.
Mr. Ng Cho Set, Director (Investment) of MFTC joined the SPM in visits to these companies.
