Malaysia’s national dress the Baju Kurung was displayed at the Annual Festival of World Cultures Festival exhibition in Kyiv on 7-15 October 2017. The intricate designs of the gold-woven songket material caught the eyes of the visitors to the exhibition and many of them appreciated the modest yet elegant quality of the Baju Kurung.
Being part of the exhibition that was organised by the Outlook Project has allowed the Embassy of Malaysia to promote and celebrate Malaysia’s culture through fashion in Kyiv.
