In pursuit of the lifelong learning policy of the Government of Malaysia, the Embassy of Malaysia in Kiev organized a visit to the Kiev Branch office of a prestigious international law firm, Egorov, Puginsky, Afanasiev and Partners (EPAP) on 15 March 2013. EPAP has an extensive network of legal offices in the CIS countries with associated offices in the UK and the USA.
During the visit, a legal briefing pertaining to Ukrainian labour laws, practices and procedures were given to the Malaysian Embassy delegation. All the members of the delegation had a fruitful learning experience and gained useful knowledge on their legal rights and entitlements re: employee – employer relationship. An exchange of views on the labour laws and practices in Malaysia and Ukraine also took place.
